Only got the group digs now as my perma all got crops in and it feels a bit awkward sometimes mate doing vids on groups. Prefer doing them when I’m in my own comforts. I had a great day today, lovely medieval rowel Spur, two great little roman minims with nice detail, the little fibula, couple of other romans too etc. got some good bits 👌

I remember you saying when they was digging part up mate. Up around them steps will be full of old viccy silvers! Be hundreds of Victorian coins on the park!

@@TheDivvyDetectorist don't forget the park was only opened in 1922 so not Victorian mate and the boating lake was only there for about 25yrs max . I did find loads of coins but mainly first half of 20th C . Pennies half pennies being most prolific . Most came from the banking on the right of the steps where people a sat or stood and watching the boaters . I found a live 9mm bullet there too. Silver bracelet fragments , miners badges , cap badge , and lots of modern junk/rubbish of course . I had a display stand of it all when they did the Centenary fete in 2022 on there . Created a lot of interest.

@@happydace6991 it was previously called Caddow park in Victorian times and previously owned by lord byron. They held events on there long before it was gifted and renamed titchfield park mate. Be full of goodies on there! You got very lucky to get the privilege of detecting it! I’d have emptied the place if it was me 🤣🤣🤣 24 hour shifts haha 👌

Lovely little token wasn’t it. Best condition his half penny I’ve ever had. Think it’s the oldest thing to ever come off this field. Usually just the odd penny or milled silver etc.
